    AMA motorcycle awareness ad

Here's a new motorcycle awareness TV spot from the AMA (6MB WMV). The ad itself is 30 seconds, but the video precedes it with some "making of" footage.

It's pretty good, though I like the tone of this NY spot a bit better (9MB MPEG).

The NY ad was apparently inspired by an earlier UK spot (3MB WMV).

This is a video from Minnesota that also used humor to prove a point about Motorcycle Awareness.

    Re: AMA motorcycle awareness ad

I'm glad to see the New York safety spot was willing to show an impact.  That AMA piece of junk is such a "pansy" attempt that it's laughable.  For me, the best is still the one that aired on the BBC, but I'm sure the morons who run our country's TV networks would be "too afraid" to air it.

Being an avid rider, and having lost several friends in motorcycle accidents, it's too bad the BBC spot, or a U.S.-produced version of it, aren't running right now in prime time.

Point is they are getting attention, no matter what you think it's the guy in the car who's attention we need.
