Saveabiker.com was created to help bring awareness to drivers that motorcycles are on the road. Also, we're instrumental in starting a "Kill a biker, go to jail" campaign, to help bring justice to those who lose loved ones due to someone elses negligence. Accidents are just that, accidents, but using a cell phone, putting on makeup or reading a newspaper while driving is too dangerous, and it puts all lives in danger.

Although the campaign is geared towards all 2 and 3 wheeled transportation, it's mostly meant for protecting motorcyclists.

Not sure. Petitions Online (the site I'm using) has sucess stories posted on their site (not saying they are true). http://www.petitiononline.com/stories.html

 Also, that snopes report is from 2002, and things change in time.

If I could put it in ink, and send it around the world, I'd do it.

It is a nice step taken forward by you, as the current status of accidents bringing lots of problems for families, and affected families are not getting any kind of benefits after accidents.
